Thursday.
Today we had to paraphrase the Pledge of Allegiance.
The original-
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic, for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with justice and liberty for all.
In my own words-
I promise loyalty and trustworthiness to the flag of and to the citizens of the United States of America, and to the government, as long as it lives, a unified country, with God as our guidance, together forever, for freedom and fairness to everyone.
